FINALLY, 3 classic NYC street foods: Kebabs, Chicken & Rice, and Shake Shack!!!

Kebabs
got them at a street fair with hot sauce. SO delicious. $4 though. Which is a lot for meat on a stick, imho.

Chicken and Rice
53rd and 6th Ave

The famous Chicken & Rice street cart. It's exactly what it sounds like: chicken and rice. and pita bread. The chicken is inexplicably amazing and delicious. And the rice is the perfect complement. Huge portions for a good price, definitely the best night food EVER. 7:30-4am baby! Huge line though...

Shake Shack
Madison Square Park

Really really good burgers, the meat is excellent. The fries are nothing spectacular, but the meal feels incomplete without them. My only complaint is that the burgers are too small, and I'm usually still hungry after!
Lines are normally ridiculous...30 minutes-1hour or longer! Check the shack cam before you go! Luckily, I went around 1pm on a Monday and only waited 10 minutes in line! then I waited 10 minutes for food, but still! Definitely a must-eat. And note to self: Tiramisu custard on Fridays, should definitely try that! The custards are seasonal, so there are always new exciting flavors!
